    fields.
  • Works to increase media and community awareness about child injury and its prevention.
  • Builds partnerships, coalitions and networks to undertake collaborative action on child injury-prevention work.
  • Provides a professional child injury information service
This version of the Spectrum of Prevention has been adapted by Safekids New Zealand in the early 1990s to include Building a solid base of information. (The original model was developed in 1986 by Contra Costa County Prevention Programme, California, USA.)
