Ann Weaver - Director
Ann has extensive public sector management experience at senior level, holding leadership roles within government and community-based services. A qualified social worker, Ann has a Masters in Public Policy and has served on several elected boards and internationally convened committees. Her strengths are in the delivery and implementation of legislative- and regulatory change-practice within the health and welfare sectors.

Anthony Rola - Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator
Anthony is a trained journalist and communications professional, previously working in the IT, aviation and luxury travel industry. Anthony moved to New Zealand from the Philippines in 2007, and has since been joined by his wife Pam and daughters Julia, Audrey & Alexa (All under 4 years old!).

Blackie Tohiariki - Safekids Campaign Kaiwhakahaere/ National Coordinator
Blackie is of Ngaati Kahungunu, Te Arawa, Te Whaanau a Apanui descent. His experience as an advisor and teacher through nationwide networks of iwi, hapu and whaanau extend into areas of programme development, social behaviour change, education and training is a valuable asset to the Safekids Campaign. Blackie is highly passionate about making a difference in creating opportunities to empower and educate others, and in improving health outcomes for tamariki, their whânau and the wider community.
Moses Alatini - Policy Analyst
Moses Alatini has joined the Safekids team as a Policy Analyst. Moses holds a Masters degree in Political Studies from the University of Auckland, and has worked as a Statistical Analyst for Statistics New Zealand in Wellington, and project manager for the New Zealand Income Survey. Moses is married to Mele and both are of Tongan heritage. Recently, Moses became a father for the first time and is beginning to see first hand the importance of the work done at Safekids NZ.

Simone Randle - Injury Prevention Advisor
Simone Randle, has a BA(Hons) degree in Geography and Development Studies from the University of Reading, England. Simone has occupied a number of positions including Safekids Project Coordinator and Safekids Injury Prevention Advisor. A mother to three sons aged 8 to 13 years and destined to a world of rugby boots, mud and fishing, Simone is a dedicated mother walking the talk of injury prevention.

Wayne Carter - Information Specialist
With a Masters degree and a post graduate diploma in Library and Information Studies, Wayne has worked in public and university libraries in both New Zealand and the UK, making him ideally qualified to manage Safekids’ extensive library of child injury-prevention material.
