Contributed to the development of safety standards for baby walkers, cots, cigarette lighters, ATV helmets, playground equipment and electrical installation in homes.

The inclusion of safer hot water requirements in the Building Code, and guidelines for vehicle access in the Safer House Design Standard.

Participated in the development of the first New Zealand Standard for fences and safety barriers around home swimming pools.
-
Improvements in safety standards of new houses built by Housing New Zealand.
