Find out how you can make a real difference to the children of New Zealand. Safekids NZ are looking for Senior Policy Advisor who can work strategically and provide high quality policy advice in order to promote best practice in child injury.
Based in Auckland, this full time role will see you sitting on advisory boards, drafting policies, writing position papers, making submissions, going out into the wider community, attending strategic meetings and building links with Pacific and Maori injury prevention networks. Some national travel is required.
You will have a Masters degree, or higher (on a topic relevant to public policy), a good grasp of policy issues, high quality relationship management skills, an understanding of statistics and excellent written skills. The ability to apply critical analysis and produce documents and reports within deadlines is essential.
Safekids New Zealand is the injury prevention service of Starship Children's Health. Our mission is to reduce the number and severity of unintentional injuries to New Zealand children.
